When our artist first discovered wet felting as a medium when traveling abroad in the 1990's, she had great difficulty learning more about it when she returned to the U.S.

However, once she developed her skills and techniques, the second hurdle she faced was finding products that were appropriate for the projects she was working on. Far too often she was encountering materials that would work well for needle felting but not wet or nuno-felting.

She also found that a lot of terminology and descriptions were inconsistent from supplier to supplier and often ordered what she thought were the same materials, many times discovering that they could not be used.

As a result, we created this site for supplies that we have tried and know for a fact will work for wet felting and nuno-felting.

We confirm all products work well before we stock them, and we will continue to provide more detailed information as we continue to assess and evaluate materials and suppliers.
